Roots and wings – our Story of Hospitality
A tale of where we come from, and where we’re going.
Each of us has a place we come from
and a place we are heading toward.
Roots and wings.
Today I want to tell you the story of our hospitality through these two simple, deeply meaningful images.
Because Villa Olivia and Le Dimore are not just accommodations—
they are the way my family chose to welcome others,
to live time,
and to care for the nature that surrounds us.

Villa Olivia – Our Roots
Villa Olivia is where it all began.
A bright, spacious home filled with the scent of olive trees
and the breeze that often slipped through the windows.
My parents had a simple idea:
to offer travellers a place that was free, independent, and real.
A place where one could cook, rest, breathe…
with no schedules, no pressure, no formalities.
Over the years, that house embraced entire seasons of our lives:
children growing into teenagers,
families returning summer after summer,
guests who left a gentle mark—
like threads in a fabric that kept expanding.
I grew up here.
And every step, every garden, every morning light
still carries a memory.
Villa Olivia is stability, continuity, presence.
Le Dimore – Our Wings
Le Dimore are our wings.
Four small houses nestled among the olive trees,
created for those who love privacy, quiet,
and a slower, more natural rhythm.
They came later, when our story was already unfolding,
but we felt the need to shape something new:
more intimate, more secluded, more free.
Each cottage has its own entrance,
a private terrace,
and a corner of nature that feels like it belongs only to those who enter.
They’re designed for those who want to feel truly “at home”
while still breathing the full air of a holiday.
And then there is La Quercia, the newest arrival—
a symbol of growth,
of that quiet strength that only time can give.
It has already welcomed its first guests,
carrying with it a piece of our future.
—
One Soul, Two Ways of Welcoming
Roots and wings are not two separate worlds—
they are the same way of loving our land,
expressed in two different forms.
A Mediterranean way of hosting:
made of care, freedom, nature, and authenticity.
Where everyone can choose their own dimension:
the solidity of Villa Olivia
or the quiet intimacy of Le Dimore.
But the soul is the same:
respect, gentleness, listening—
a familiar yet discreet presence,
always there, never intrusive.
—
Where We Come From. Where We’re Going.
Roots that remind us who we are.
Wings that show us where we can go.
Perhaps this is what makes these places so special:
the feeling of becoming part of a living story,
one that welcomes those who arrive
and protects those who leave.
Every guest adds something:
a leaf, a smile, a small fragment of life.
And from these fragments… our wings continue to grow.
